Best Way to Find Local Sweeps
I live in Durham, North Carolina. Does anyone have any tips for finding local sweeps? Thanks!!

I know alot of times..down here anyway the local radio stations and TV channels like Fox will have contest for viewing/listening area only.Google your area and you may find some that way.Just a thought~GL

 Make a list of all your local TV and Radio Stations. Visit their websites and locate the Promotion or Contest page. Bookmark these pages and check often for new promos. Here is an example: http://abclocal.go.com/wtvd/channel?...ent&id=5785172 When you do your grocery shopping keep an eye for local promotions on store displays, product packaging etc. Good luck! |

I agree with Tat & Kotik.
You might also look through your local newspapers. I know several times I've found sweeps from local businesses in the small "neighborhood newspaper". The daily city paper also has sweeps from local businesses too.

One trick I found was that many times a marketing company will have promotions for different companies but for locals only. Once you find that company you can search google. for example "site:www.toenternow.com" . They do sweepstakes for the Southern California area. Another trick is to type "no purchase necessary" "los angeles county" stuff like that.
