New with a few questions

Hi everyone!
I LOVE this site. I just started entering sweeps this week and I have a few questions. How many contests do you enter a day? If you win how are you usually contacted? What are the best sweeps (and the worst) for a better chance at winning. Where do you find sweeps to post (I would love to help). Thanks in advance and good luck!

Hi caitlin, and welcome!

I enter around 300 sweeps on a daily basis. This number does not include all the "one time entry" sweeps, since those vary in number each day. I also have a long list of instant win games I play. I win fairly often, but there are times I'll go a few days or a week without a win. That's normal. (Can't win 'em all......but it'd be nice...LOL!)

When I won my trip to CA, I was notified by email. I've had prizes just show up with no advance notification. I've also gotten affys (affidavits) by FedEx and UPS. No phone calls, but there are others here who have gotten calls about wins.

Best to enter: Definitely one time entry sweeps. Everyone has an equal chance of winning. I'd follow that with daily sweeps. You don't have to enter every single day to win. Enter as often as your time permits. Unlimited entry sweeps, and recipe/essay/photo contests are good too. Especially the contests. There are a lot of people who don't want to take the time to write an essay, upload a photo or enter a recipe. I won $100 from Sargento on a recipe contest, so they're worth the time.

Sweeps can be found in lots of places. Emails from companies, newsletters, on their sites. I have a bookmark list of sites that have had sweeps in the past, and refer to it to see if they have new ones running.

Freebs says it all. I started slow but then you just get in the grove. I do close to 200 a day. Not counting new 1 time only contest.
