If you want to write a tweet directed at someone, start with their name, as in....

"@crazeypoet please help me!"

If you are ReTweeting another person's message (used in a lot of contests) copy and paste message and add RT to beginning:

"RT: Retweet and win!"

You can also RT @someone if you want to make extra sure they see it.

On the right hand side of your twitter window, you can click the @yourname link to see all of the tweets the contained your name...to see if ppl are talking about you, to you or announcing you as the winner of a contest

In addition to public updates and @replies, you can send private tweets, called DM or direct messages, too. If someone is following you, you can send a direct message from the web via the "message" link on the profile page.

You can also send a direct message from the update box by typing:
d + username + message

In order to receive and send direct messages you must follow that particular person and they must follow you.

Oh, and, with Huggies, can I enter (and win) more than once?

I'm not sure with Huggies...a lot of companies limit it to one win...but send them a note and ask, they'll usually respond.

The @ivillage thing was a party last night. Companies usually sponsor a twitter party and have a blog host it, but last night was hosted by @ivillage. Anyways, they have a party where guests all tweet a hashmark in their tweets to link them all together. They ask party goers questions or start a topic of conversation about the products, companies, etc. They usually have giveaways too.

I don't know if @ivillage will do one again, but there are twitter parties all the time. Next time I see one coming, i'll post it and let you know details
