Smoking sweeps?

So am I the only one around here who doesn't smoke, or do all of you just enter the Marlboro and other "smokers only" sweeps? I have never smoked so I don't really feel good about entering, but all those pretty, pretty prizes almost temp me to take up the dirty habit

Sadly, hazeltine, I've been a smoker for many, MANY years. So, I AM eligible to enter those ( although I only enter the Marlboro ones).

I understand about the desire to enter - and a vast number of people who aren't smokers are entering. Not to rant, but it wouldn't quite bother me so much if it wasn't for the fact that many of those SAME people are the ones who complain about smokers, etc.. Annoys the hell out of me.

Nope, you're not the only one.

I was actually ranting to Guilly about this a couple of months ago when everyone was getting all those great prizes and I sat here empty-handed. I've never tried smoking, so I can't even pretend that I'm just an infrequent smoker . . . you know, once every 18 years or so.

at least just the part about smoking (not the last part about missing eligible sweeps

I don't smoke either and never enter the smoking contests, for dstam's reasons also. I've also heard that because by signing up for these contests, you attest that you're a smoker, that insurance companies, if they find out, can up your rates or refuse to cover you....that would suck!

At age 15 I started smoking. It stunted my growth at 6'2". 20 years later I quit, it was free and SCUBA diving and smoking was starting to get to me. Before I quit I was smoking 3 packs of Kools a day. Only used a match in the morning to light the first one the rest were lit of the previous smoke. Did Skoll once and was sick for a week.
I enter any and all tobaco sweeps. Yes, I say I'm a smoker. I have won much needed t shirts. Maybe that's karma coming back at me.

I'm a social smoker just like I'm a social drinker. The only time I smoke is when I drink and the only time I drink is when I smoke. For some reason the two go hand in hand. I only have the urge to smoke when drinking or after sex
